The most anticipated games of the second half of 2026
If you think 2026 has already shown us everything — wait a minute. The second half of the year is so busy that you should start preparing your wallet (and free time) now. Here's what's coming up from July to December.
July — Halo: Campaign Evolved
The legendary Halo: Combat Evolved has been completely remastered on Unreal Engine 5 — with new visuals, new weapons, and three additional missions. Nostalgia plus modern graphics — and for the first time, Halo on PlayStation.
August — Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy
Return to the world of A Plague Tale — this time with more combat. A must-have for fans of the series, and a great entry point for newcomers.
September — The Blood of Dawnwalker and Marvel's Wolverine
The Blood of Dawnwalker — A 14th-century vampire RPG from Rebel Wolves, a studio founded by the former team behind The Witcher 3. This is one of the year's big hopes for dark fantasy fans.
Marvel's Wolverine — A new PS5 exclusive from Insomniac Games (the creators of Spider-Man). A brutal, adult-oriented action game starring Logan.
October — Gears of War: E-Day
A return to the origins of the series: E-Day takes us back to the day the Locusts first emerged from the underground. The premier shooter of the year for Xbox and PC gamers.
November — Grand Theft Auto VI
November 19. This date will be memorized by the entire industry. Vice City, two protagonists and the biggest-budget game in history. Details In our GTA 6 review.
Autumn — Fable
A reboot of the British humor-filled RPG series with thousands of reactive NPCs and a huge open world. The exact date is yet to be confirmed, but autumn 2026 has been announced.
