The V2 Analog focuses on “variable” control, moving away from the simple “on/off” nature of traditional mechanical keyboards.

• Razer™ Analog Optical Switches (Gen-1):

  • Adjustable Actuation: You can set the point where a key registers from 1.5mm (fast) to 3.6mm (deep).

  • Dual-Step Actuation: You can program two actions into one keypress. For example, a light press equips a grenade, and a deep press throws it.

  • Analog Input: The keys can mimic a controller’s analog stick. This allows for gradual movement in games like GTA V or Forza—pressing “W” lightly makes you walk, while pressing it fully makes you run.

• Rapid Trigger Mode: Through a 2024 software update, Razer added Rapid Trigger to the V2 Analog. This allows keys to reset the instant you lift your finger, which is crucial for competitive shooters like Valorant.

• USB 3.0 Passthrough: A rare feature now, it includes a dedicated USB 3.0 port on the side of the keyboard, perfect for plugging in your mouse dongle or a headset.

• Plush Magnetic Wrist Rest: Unlike the newer V3 Pro’s firm wrist rest, the V2 Analog comes with a soft, leatherette-cushioned rest that features underglow RGB lighting.
